The Procedure:
Under the combination of intramuscular injections for pain and local anesthetic, you will feel no distress. The hymen repair procedure involves the reconstruction of the hymen. Cultural, religious, or social reasons are usually why hymen repair surgery is contemplated. Hymenoplasty is performed to make the patient appear virginal. It works for women who have not had vaginal deliveries, and preferably, in those who have never been pregnant. Once a Hymenoplasty has been completed and healed, the act of sexual intercourse can result in bleeding when the hymen is torn or stretched.
The Procedure:
Under the combination of intramuscular injections for pain and local anesthetic you will feel no distress. Our skilled surgeon will use the natural remnant of the Hymen or, if required, will reconstruct tissue from the vaginal walls so that there is a barrier of skin with a blood supply that will effectively be a "new" hymen. Once healed the result will be undetectable to inspection and will give the sensation to both partners, including bleeding, at the initial intercourse.
